PROFILE - The history about A.H. International A/S
The company A.Hansen was founded in 1974 by Andreas
Hansen, who established an agency in Sønderborg to
import welding hoses and other welding equipment
from German and Italian manufacturers. The company
later moved to Kolding, where Managing Director Per
Sommer took over in 1987.
A.Hansen became a limited company in 1991, under the
name A.H. International A/S.
AH International has come a long way from being a
one-man company, and now includes many small groups
af specialists associated with individual products,
working under joint administrative and logistics
departments. AH International have chosen to trade
in and stock selected products in which we have
expert knowledge. This technical know-how means that
we are always able to give you the best advice and
expertise.
AH international A/S imports and trades in
accessories for welding and pickling, as well as
cutting and lubricating oil and grease. The company
also exports to various countries. Our customers are
companies in the mechanical engineering industry and
other industrial companies, including food
manufacturers.
AH International represents or acts as an agent for
the following companies (some of which trade
throughout Scandinavia): AGA, AHS, Bio-Chem,
CLOOS, Dinse, Huntingdon, I.C.E.M., JAX, Jokisch, Lubcon,
Pelox, Selco, UTP, V.Å. Gram, WDI, Weldcraft,
Weldlogic and Wolfram Industri. AH International also manufactures e.g. welding spray and extraction
equipment for welding pistols.
Storage for lubricants
AH
International have around 2000 customers. In
Denmark, customers are served by our technical and
sales staff. We also serve a serie of technical
schools, AMU Centres, (Training Centres for the
unemployed) a number of public institutions,
off-shore industries, power stations, shipyards and
leading food manufacturers.
With AH International
you will be assisted by experts who place great
weight on giving an effective and highly qualified
service. We supply a number of industries which
often require goods at short notice. Often within a
few hours. Orders for goods in stock received before
14:00 hours on a weekday will be dispatched the very
same day. Development is rapid at AH International.
Over the last few years, our turnover has doubled
many times, as has the number of customers, and many
new branches have been added. Satisfied customers
are the best recommendation we can have. Around one
third of our turnover comes from the export market,
and we aim to increase this proportion.
